2. What personal data do we collect?

WebTarragona collects personal data through the website’s contact forms and chat assistant. The data we may request is:

  • Name
  • Business name and town
  • Phone or WhatsApp
  • The service you are interested in
  • In the chat: the conversation and any phone number or email you choose to leave
  • Technical submission data: the page you write from and how you reached the website (for example, from Google or an ad)

In addition, like any web server, our systems automatically log technical visit data: IP address, browser, operating system, pages visited and time of access. This data is used solely for statistical and security purposes.

4. How long we keep data

Personal data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, to formalise and perform the contract. Once the relationship ends, data is blocked and kept for the periods required by applicable tax and commercial law (generally 6 years), after which it is securely deleted.

Where processing is based on consent, data is kept until you withdraw it.

5. Recipients and international transfers

WebTarragona does not sell or share personal data with third parties unless legally required. We do use trusted technology providers who may access data as processors. These providers guarantee protection levels equivalent to the GDPR:

  • Google LLC — web analytics (Google Analytics / Search Console) and advertising (Google Ads). International transfers covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Web3Forms: the service that receives form and chat enquiries and forwards them to us by email.
  • Hosting providers — website hosting on servers located in the European Union.

As a data subject, you have the following GDPR rights, which you can exercise at any time:

  • Access: find out what data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”): request deletion of your data when it is no longer needed.
  • Objection: object to the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Restriction: ask us to restrict processing of your data.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise your rights, email infowebtarragona@gmail.com stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your ID. We will reply within one month.

If you believe the processing of your data breaches current law, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.

WebTarragona applies the technical and organisational measures needed to keep personal data secure and prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the data and the risks involved.
